Rodo is the largest supplier of decorating sundry products in the UK. Recently they have built a large state of the art warehouse in Oldham, close to their existing base in Droylsden. This company expansion also saw them re-brand themselves from a green colour to blue and grey.

The old warehouse no longer looked part of the company, left in the old colour scheme with an ageing exterior, Rodo understood that they needed to take action and refurbish the exterior cladding of the building.

rodo-warehouse-droylsden-free-onsite-sample Cladding Coatings were able to match the new brand colours and test them on the cladding by providing a free on site sample before the colour was approved. The coatings team arrived on site to commence the work by using the scaffolding to start cleaning the vast walls of metal cladding. In just a few days the warehouse was prepared ready for paint application. The paint system used on this project was Noxedye 125 (blue). The gutters were finished in Goose Wing Grey colour. On this project there were also some new cladding sheets being installed which meant the painting team had to co-ordinate with the installation team and ensure one elevation was completed before moving onto the next area. Finally the roller shutter doors and bollards where cleaned with the pressure washer and then masked around the surrounds of the doors and sprayed with alkythane using the HVLP. These doors looked brand new one the painting work was completed. The building was left newly re-branded and now fitted in well with the new corporate image. For Rodo it was like having two new buildings in its portfolio.
